How come Flare mobile isn't showing up on my website?

We take a few factors into consideration when deciding to display Flare mobile on your website: 1) we try to detect that you're on a mobile device using JavaScript, 2) we try to detect that you actually have a responsive theme for your website. Typically when our users are not seeing Flare mobile its due to their website not being configured properly for mobile display, often because they do not have a responsive theme.

Here are some good troubleshooting steps to follow if your website is not display Flare mobile on a mobile device:
  1. Check to make sure the code snippet is there - Some websites redirect to an entirely different mobile theme or even URL. Make sure that if your website redirects to an "m." domain (e.g. "m.mydomain.com") or adds a query parameter to the URL (e.g. "mydomain.com/?m=1"), make sure that your mobile theme also includes the Filament code snippet. Also, make sure that you have configured an "m.mydomain.com" domain in Filament itself.
  2. Make sure your site is mobile ready - If you do not have a responsive theme for your website, the phone will try and figure out how it should render - this does not always yield consistent results and makes it impossible for Flare to properly determine if it should display in mobile mode. Luckily, this is an easy fix: just add the tag below to your <head> tag in your website's theme:
    <meta content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1" name="viewport">
